Invite students into the fascinating microscopic world of cells

The 18 hands-on activities in Cellular World allow students to investigate cell types and cell organization, cell processes including osmosis and diffusion, how cells cycle energy, the cell cycle, and how cells reproduce and grow.

A comprehensive culminating activity asks students to develop a biochemical test for catalase, a cell enzyme. Students use their test to determine the presence of this enzyme in cells from the major kingdoms.
